Fresh Tomato Sauce




you'll need -


  1. 1/4 cup olive oil

  2. 6 tomatoes, chopped

  3. 3 onions, minced

  4. 2 green bell peppers, minced

  5. 4 cloves garlic, minced

  6. 3 tablespoons white wine

  7. salt & pepper to taste




  • Place oil in a large saucepan, heat over a medium heat; add tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers, garlic, white wine and salt and pepper to taste.

  • Liquidise or if you prefer a more "meaty" relish then just mix ingredients well; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

  • Allow to cool and put in bottles/ jars to keep.
