Garlic Roasted French
Beans

Fine French
beans

1 Shallot

Olive Oil

Garlic
(crushed)

Salt

Black Pepper

Fresh Herbs
Preparation

Heat the oven to
230°C (450 °F).

Wash, trim and
dry the French beans, peel and thinly slice the shallot.

Place olive oil
into a large glass bowl, add the crushed garlic, salt and pepper. Place
the French beans and shallots into the bowl and toss well.

Place onto a
greased baking tray and roast in the oven for between 12 and 20 minutes
(depending on how large the beans are). Turn occasionally.

To serve, simply
sprinkle with chopped fresh herbs, and toss. Serve immediately.
